Barrett has been listed as an outside back, with Jacomb and Mo'unga the leading options at first five.

All Blacks head coach Dave Rennie revealed that flyhalf Ruben Love will miss the upcoming Bledisloe Cup Tests against the Wallabies due to an ankle injury. Love, who started the first six Tests of the international season, reaggravated a persistent ankle niggle that had previously affected him during the Super Rugby Pacific campaign.
Rennie noted that Love was currently only able to run at roughly 70 percent, leaving no definite return timeline. Meanwhile, midfielder Quinn Tupaea has recovered from a minor knee injury and is confirmed to be available for selection ahead of the first Test at Eden Park.
