Wolves defender makes return from injury against England

Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Ladislav Krejci made his return from a calf injury by captaining the Czech Republic against England. The 27-year-old started the UEFA Nations League match on Tuesday night, marking his first appearance since sustaining the injury during training prior to the Black Country derby against West Bromwich Albion.

Krejci previously missed Wolves' match against West Brom and sat out the Czech Republic's defeat to Croatia while following an individual training program. After recovering from physical overload following the World Cup, he rejoined the national starting lineup ahead of upcoming fixtures against Spain and England.
