Chelsea youngster Lexi Potter earns her first England call-up after impressing for the Blues in the early part of the season.

Chelsea midfielder Lexi Potter has received her first senior England call-up from manager Sarina Wiegman for October's World Cup qualifier against Greece. The 20-year-old was selected following an impressive run of form, while regular internationals Aggie Beever-Jones, Chloe Kelly, and Ella Toone were left out of the squad.
Potter made her Chelsea debut in October 2025 and has started three of four league matches this season, highlighted by a standout display against Arsenal. Both England manager Wiegman and Chelsea head coach Sonia Bompastor praised Potter's maturity, consistency, and ability to perform against top opponents.
