Former Australia U20 captain Toby Macpherson has been named in a Wallabies squad for the first time.

Former Australia U20 captain Toby Macpherson has earned his first Wallabies call-up after being named in Australia's 34-man squad for the upcoming Bledisloe Cup series against New Zealand. Head coach Les Kiss selected the 22-year-old ACT Brumbies utility forward as a replacement for Tom Hooper, who returned to the Exeter Chiefs.
Playmaker Harry McLaughlin-Phillips joins Macpherson as the other uncapped player in the 34-man squad, while Massimo de Lutiis and Nick Frost return. Taniela Tupou is unavailable due to club commitments with Racing 92. The Wallabies assemble in Auckland this weekend ahead of facing the All Blacks at Eden Park on October 10.
