Sacramento Kings players are embracing low external expectations heading into the new season, with several team members addressing widespread skepticism during Media Day. Following a 22-win campaign last season, media outlets have reportedly ranked Sacramento as low as 30th in the NBA.
Players such as Ben Simmons and De'Andre Hunter stated that outside doubts allow the team to play with a clear mind and less pressure. Malik Monk also noted that he has seen the 30th-place projections as the roster prepares for the upcoming year.
