Mathis Albert writes history in USMNT’s heated victory over Chile.

Borussia Dortmund winger Mathis Albert has become the youngest goalscorer in United States Men's National Team history after scoring in a 4-2 friendly victory against Chile. The South Carolina native came off the bench and sealed the win in injury time at the age of 17 years and 4 months, eclipsing the previous record held by Christian Pulisic.
USMNT coach Mauricio Pochettino praised Albert following the match, which followed the teenager's international debut in a 4-1 win over Peru. Albert previously made his Bundesliga debut for Dortmund against Freiburg and started under Niko Kovac in the DFB-Pokal opener against HEBC Hamburg.
