Leicester City have been tipped to win League One by a supercomputer

A supercomputer has predicted that Leicester City will win the League One title despite currently sitting 14th in the table. Russell Martin's side has managed just two wins from their opening seven games, earning nine points. However, the BETSiE simulation model gives the club a 54.6% probability of lifting the third-tier trophy.
The simulation predicts Leicester will finish top with 84.8 points, forecasting 22 victories from their remaining 39 fixtures. The model gives the Foxes a 75.8% chance of automatic promotion, while projecting Sheffield Wednesday to finish as runners-up on 79.1 points.
