‘Might be doable’ – Ferguson speculates when Rangers could move for ‘Outstanding’ 28-cap int’l

Barry Ferguson has backed Rangers to launch a future transfer move for Bologna midfielder Lewis Ferguson as his contract winds down. The Scotland international remained in Serie A following the summer window, with Bologna's reported £20 million valuation proving to be a stumbling block for the Scottish Premiership side.

Speaking on the Go Radio Football Show, Barry Ferguson suggested a permanent transfer could become viable for Rangers once his nephew's contract nears its June 2028 expiration date. Lewis Ferguson also confirmed while on international duty that playing for Rangers remains a long-term dream.
