Ferrari ‘deleted’ critical Lewis Hamilton comments from audio file sent to F1 media

Ferrari reportedly deleted comments made by Lewis Hamilton from an audio recording distributed to the media following the Italian Grand Prix. Hamilton had voiced frustration after dropping from fourth to tenth at Monza during a battle with teammate Charles Leclerc, arguing that unlike his former team Mercedes, Ferrari had "no rules" of engagement for on-track racing between teammates.

Team principal Fred Vasseur responded by stating Hamilton’s remarks did not reflect reality, insisting both drivers understand their responsibilities despite the lack of written rules. Hamilton has grown increasingly critical of Ferrari's strategy and execution amid a recent six-race podium drought that saw him fall 103 points behind championship leader Kimi Antonelli.
