Schmeichel has opened up on retirement and his desire to return to football

Former Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has revealed his desire to return to football as a manager following his forced retirement from playing. Speaking at the EFC General Assembly in Copenhagen, the Premier League winner joked that he currently acts as a full-time Uber driver for his three children while adjusting to life off the pitch.
Schmeichel hung up his gloves in May after suffering a shoulder injury while at Celtic, cutting his career short. The former Denmark international admitted to feeling bored in retirement and confirmed he is currently working toward coaching badges, undertaking television work, and preparing for a managerial role.
