The 2026 NRLW Grand Final will mark the final match for Corban Baxter and Millie Elliott, but they won’t be the only Roosters stars departing the club.
Sydney Roosters forward Rima Butler has confirmed she will leave the club to join the Wests Tigers starting in 2027. Butler revealed the move ahead of the 2026 NRLW Grand Final against the Brisbane Broncos, explaining that signing with the Tigers allows her to play closer to her home in South West Sydney.
The 28-year-old NSW Blues representative is seeking her first premiership after falling short in last year's decider. Butler also announced her intention to represent Australia's Jillaroos at the upcoming World Cup, while keeping open the option to represent New Zealand later in her career.
