The Philadelphia 76ers have built an All-Star team for the 2026 NBA season. But one of their stars singled out an interesting player as key to the team's success.
Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey offered high praise for teammate VJ Edgecombe during the team's media day. Maxey stated that the second-year guard will likely be the team's most important player for the upcoming season, emphasizing the necessity of his youth, energy, and nightly consistency alongside a star-studded roster.
Edgecombe averaged 16.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game during his rookie season. New teammate LeBron James also commended the 21-year-old guard on a recent podcast, noting Edgecombe's mature leadership and potential to contend for an All-Defensive team.
