Dallas Cowboys have already made decision on Joey Porter Jr.'s contract extension.

The Dallas Cowboys acquired cornerback Joey Porter Jr. from the Pittsburgh Steelers but will not immediately offer him a contract extension, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz. The Cowboys reportedly sent a 2028 second-round pick and a conditional 2027 sixth-round pick to Pittsburgh for the cornerback, who is in the final year of his rookie contract.
Porter was reportedly traded after contract extension talks with Pittsburgh stalled. Spotrac projects his market value at a four-year, $109.6 million extension, but Dallas reportedly plans to evaluate his performance first as they aim for a Super Bowl push.
