The Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves face off in a winner-take-all Game 3 of the National League Wild Card Series on Thursday. After Atlanta secured Game 1 and Philadelphia leveled the series with a 4-3 extra-inning victory in Game 2, the winner will advance to the NLDS to play the Los Angeles Dodgers. The matchup airs on NBC and Peacock.
Neither club has officially named a starting pitcher, though Aaron Nola and Zack Wheeler are possibilities for the Phillies, while Grant Holmes is projected to handle bulk innings for the Braves. Philadelphia interim manager Don Mattingly indicated all available arms could pitch, while Atlanta manager Walt Weiss expects key relievers to be ready.
