"He's been through the wringer this year, on and off the field," Bryce Harper said of Bohm.

Alec Bohm hit a go-ahead 10th-inning home run to lift the Philadelphia Phillies to a 4-3 victory over the Atlanta Braves in Game 2 of the Wild Card Series. Bohm's extra-innings blast off Didier Fuentes prevented postseason elimination and forced a decisive Game 3 on Thursday at Truist Park.
The game-winning moment capped a turbulent season for Bohm, who struggled early on, dealt with an off-field lawsuit against his parents, and was temporarily benched in May. Bohm rebounded with a strong second half and postseason performance, drawing praise from teammate Bryce Harper and interim manager Don Mattingly.
