The Tampa Bay Buccaneers face severe injury issues ahead of their Week 4 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. Starting quarterback Baker Mayfield will miss at least three weeks due to a dislocated thumb, giving undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels his first NFL start. Wide receiver Jalen McMillan was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury and is expected to miss six to eight weeks.
Additional offensive concerns mount as wide receiver Chris Godwin Jr. missed practice with an ankle injury, potentially expanding the role for rookie Ted Hurst. The defense also suffered numerous setbacks during Wednesday's practice, with Rueben Bain Jr., Yaya Diaby, Rakeem Nuñez-Roches, and Jacob Parrish all unable to participate.
