Viktor Gyokeres has scored two goals in two games for Sweden during the international break and the Arsenal striker has sent a clear message to Mikel Arteta

Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres has stated he wants to play as much football as possible following a difficult start to the 2026/27 campaign. Despite scoring 21 goals in his debut season after joining from Sporting CP for £64 million, the Sweden international has played just 29 Premier League minutes this term under manager Mikel Arteta.
Gyokeres reaffirmed his commitment to Arsenal after summer transfer speculation, scoring two goals in two games for Sweden over the international break. With Kai Havertz suffering a suspected hamstring injury, Gyokeres could be in line to start Arsenal's upcoming clash against Leeds United.
