The Arizona Diamondbacks and free-agent pitcher Michael Soroka have mutual interest in reuniting for the 2027 season, according to reports. Soroka expressed that he would love to return to Arizona after completing a successful campaign under a one-year, $7.5 million contract.
Soroka recorded a 3.41 ERA with 114 strikeouts over 116 innings across 22 appearances in 2026. Despite two injury stints during the season, the 29-year-old right-hander is expected to decline a $10 million mutual option to seek a multi-year deal in free agency.
