The Story in 60 Seconds

Baltimore Ravens rookie offensive lineman Vega Ioane could potentially finish the season at center following a rash of injuries at the position, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley. Ioane, Baltimore's top draft pick who started at right guard, shifted to center for the final eight snaps against Brazil after both Jovaughn Gwyn and Ethan Pocic suffered significant leg injuries.

With Danny Pinter also sidelined by a preseason injury, Baltimore faces long-term absences across its depth chart. Head coach Jesse Minter hesitated to confirm if the recent injuries are season-ending, but if Ioane remains at center, Andrew Vorhees and Emery Jones Jr. are expected to compete for the vacant right guard spot.
