Former Houston Texans DB Jaylen Reed got another step toward closure following a traumatic even when he was still with the franchise.

Federal authorities have arrested up to 15 people in an investigation stemming from the January 4 armed robbery and carjacking of former Houston Texans safety Jaylen Reed. According to court testimony, Reed was confronted at gunpoint by three masked men inside his garage, where suspects stole his SUV before a subsequent police pursuit ended in a crash and the initial arrest of suspect Montreal Frye.
The probe expanded into the Greenspoint-area gang known as YNS after investigators connected Frye's brother, Jocquez Frye, to the incident. Federal agents used sting operations involving bait cars and fake stash houses to arrest members, while defense attorneys argue the suspects were improperly entrapped.
