Toulouse Olympique dominate France's 23-man squad for the upcoming World Cup, providing eight players to head coach Laurent Frayssinous' selection. In total, 19 of the 23 selected players compete in Super League, marking the first time in recent memory that Toulouse has surpassed Catalans Dragons' representation in the national side. English-born Hull FC hooker Amir Bourouh is among those named in the squad bound for Australia.
Catalans Dragons provide six players, led by the retiring Benjamin Garcia, while Mathieu Jussaume headlines the Toulouse contingent. South Sydney Rabbitohs player Latrell Siegwalt serves as the squad's sole NRL representative. France will begin their tournament campaign against Samoa on October 16, followed by pool matches against England and Lebanon.
