Bristol Bears have suffered a major blow ahead of Saturday evening’s visit from Gallagher PREM champions Northampton Saints, as England and Lions loosehead Ellis Genge will miss the game with a wrist injury.

Bristol Bears loosehead prop Ellis Genge will miss Saturday's Gallagher Premiership clash against champions Northampton Saints due to a wrist injury. Genge sustained the sprain in the opening minute of Bristol's 34-24 win over Sale Sharks, although he played on for over an hour before being substituted.
Bristol director of rugby Pat Lam revealed that Genge is expected to be sidelined for two to three weeks at most. Lam confirmed the England international has already undergone scans and returned to running drills ahead of his anticipated return.
