AC Milan playmaker Alphadjo Cisse came off the bench to score a 95th-minute winning goal for Italy U21s in their European Championship qualifier against Armenia. Entering at halftime, the 20-year-old struck a left-footed shot into the top corner in stoppage time to secure victory following a challenging first half for the Azzurrini.
Prior to the decisive strike, Cisse hit the woodwork from outside the penalty area and drew a foul for a penalty, which teammate Koleosho missed. His performance followed a hat-trick in a warm-up match a few days earlier, with senior Italy national team manager Roberto Mancini reportedly considering him for a senior call-up.
