Edin Džeko stands with Ermedin Demirović in a press conference ahead of his last international appearance as the Stuttgart star faces criticism.

Edin Džeko defended Stuttgart forward Ermedin Demirović against mounting criticism during his final international press conference for Bosnia and Herzegovina. The 40-year-old striker urged critics to leave Demirović alone ahead of his final match for Sergej Barbarez's side against Sweden on Friday.
Demirović is currently enduring a 13-game goal drought for the national team, having scored just four goals in 46 caps. Meanwhile, Džeko, now playing for Schalke, will make his 152nd and final international appearance, looking to add to his national record tally of 73 goals.
