The Nashville Predators have finalized key lineup decisions ahead of their season opener against the Minnesota Wild. Head Coach Andrew Brunette confirmed that goaltender Juuse Saros will start in net, while young defenseman Ryan Ufko will skate alongside captain Roman Josi on the top defensive pairing.
Brunette praised Ufko's standout training camp performance as the team manages a crowded blue line featuring nine defensemen. Other active blueliners for the opener include Brady Skjei, Nick Perbix, Nic Hague, and Adam Wilsby, leaving Ilya Lyubushkin, Jack Ahcan, and William Trudeau scratched.
