After a long summer, it's once again time for the puck to drop at Bridgestone Arena to kick off the 2026-27 season.
The Nashville Predators host the Minnesota Wild at Bridgestone Arena to open their 2026-27 NHL regular season. Several players are expected to make their Predators debuts, including Ross Colton, Mavrik Bourque, Jack Drury, Alexander Kerfoot, and Adam Edstrom, as Nashville enters opening night with a clean bill of health.
The Wild will contend with key absences, with defenseman Brock Faber sidelined due to a preseason skull fracture and goaltender Filip Gustavsson out with a lower-body injury. Jesper Wallstedt is projected in net for Minnesota against Nashville's Juuse Saros.
