Sullivan is seeking damages after issuing a High Court defamation claim over the BBC documentary, 'Predator: The Billionaire Football Boss',

West Ham United co-owner David Sullivan is suing the BBC for £150 million ($197.8m) in a High Court defamation claim. The lawsuit follows the broadcast of a Panorama documentary on June 8 titled 'Predator: The Billionaire Football Boss', which included sexual misconduct allegations from seven women dating back to the 1980s and 1990s. Sullivan has completely denied any wrongdoing.
In addition to damages, Sullivan seeks an order requiring the BBC to remove the documentary from its platforms and halt further publication. The 77-year-old resigned his directorship at West Ham in June ahead of the broadcast, though he maintains a 38.8 percent stake in the Championship club. Both Sullivan and the club stated the allegations do not relate to West Ham.
