Former Manchester United striker Eric Cantona has publicly criticized club co-owner Jim Ratcliffe on TikTok, stating he would not have signed for the club if Ratcliffe had been in charge during the 1990s. Cantona, who won four Premier League titles at Old Trafford between 1992 and 1997, expressed strong disagreement with the Ineos boss.
Cantona voiced strong objections to Ratcliffe's comments regarding immigration to the United Kingdom, pointing out that football's greatest players historically emerged from diverse waves of immigration. The French legend had previously spoken out against Ratcliffe's management in 2025 following ticket price increases and approximately 450 staff job cuts.
