City are in the process of submitting an appeal and the FA says it will monitor the situation closely
The Football Association has announced it will consider taking appropriate action following an independent commission's guilty verdict against Manchester City. City was found guilty of almost all of the 115 Premier League financial regulation charges spanning between 2009 and 2018, which involved inflating revenue and concealing costs by more than £900m. The FA noted the ruling has significant implications for the game's integrity and stated it is monitoring developments closely.
Manchester City strongly denied the accusations, with CEO Ferran Soriano labeling the verdict a conspiracy theory. While the club prepares an appeal, potential sanctions could range from a massive points deduction to Premier League expulsion.
