The 250-run stand between Madhava Prasad and Athish deflated the hopes of the Rest of India bowlers

Tamil Nadu Under-23 openers K.T.A. Madhava Prasad and S.R. Athish each struck centuries to take control against Rest of India Under-23 at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium. By stumps on day two, Tamil Nadu reached 368 for one, securing an 189-run first-innings lead. The pair shared a dominant 250-run opening stand that kept the opposition bowlers wicketless for nearly five hours.
Athish scored 137 before being dismissed by left-arm spinner Emanjot Singh Chahal. Madhava Prasad remained unbeaten on 150 alongside Kiran Karthikeyan, who contributed 56 not out, following Rest of India's earlier first-innings total of 179.
