Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno may have improved his chances of a summer move to Bayern Munich after praising young goalkeeper Jonas Urbig. Sport Witness previously reported that Leno is on Bayern Munich's shortlist as an experienced backup option, with Manuel Neuer expected to retire at the end of the season.
Speaking to WAZ, Leno advocated for Urbig to succeed Neuer as Germany's future number one goalkeeper. Sean Lunt suggests these public comments make Leno an ideal target for a free transfer when his Fulham contract expires next summer.
