The Nashville Predators have officially reassigned defenseman Ryan Ufko to the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals. The team did not announce an immediate corresponding roster move, reducing their active roster to 22 players ahead of their matchup against the Dallas Stars.
Head coach Andrew Brunette noted that Ufko looked overwhelmed during Nashville's regular-season opener against the Minnesota Wild, stating the team preferred him playing regularly rather than sitting out. A 2021 draft pick, the 23-year-old blueliner previously recorded 11 points across 18 NHL games last season.
