The Minnesota Vikings have officially ruled out wide receiver Justin Jefferson for their Week 4 contest against the Miami Dolphins. Head coach Kevin O'Connell announced the decision on Friday, noting that the star receiver is sidelined with an ankle injury suffered during the Week 3 matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Jefferson's absence leaves the Vikings relying on receivers Jordan Addison and Jauan Jennings. Jefferson has posted 13 catches for 179 yards and two touchdowns this season for a Minnesota offense led by quarterback Kyler Murray that currently ranks last in the NFL with 238.3 yards per game.
