The New York Giants released offensive tackle Darian Kinnard from the practice squad on Friday, ending a brief stay in East Rutherford that never reached the active roster, via the NFL transaction wire.
The New York Giants have released offensive tackle Darian Kinnard from their practice squad ahead of their Week 4 game against the Arizona Cardinals. Kinnard, who initially joined the franchise on September 1, departs without having been elevated to the active 53-man roster. To fill the vacancy and adjust offensive line depth, the team confirmed the signing of veteran offensive lineman Kendrick Green.
A former fifth-round pick by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022, Kinnard has started five games across 20 career appearances and previously played for the Green Bay Packers. The move carries minimal salary-cap impact for the Giants, returning the 26-year-old three-time Super Bowl ring winner to the free-agent market.
