The Seattle Seahawks have ruled out starting running back Jadarian Price for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Head coach Mike Macdonald revealed that Price aggravated a chest injury originally suffered in Week 2 during Wednesday's practice, causing him to miss sessions on Thursday and Friday. Price, a first-round pick, has started all three games this season, recording 119 rushing yards on 28 carries.
With Price sidelined, Seattle is expected to rely on backfield options Emanuel Wilson and George Holani, while Velus Jones Jr. is a candidate for elevation from the practice squad. Elsewhere on the injury report, safety Julian Love is expected to play following a calf issue, while safety Ty Okada and linebacker Chazz Surratt are listed as questionable.
