The Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially ruled out QB Baker Mayfield, OLB Rueben Bain, TE Ko Kieft, and CB Benjamin Morrison for Week 4 against the Packers.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have ruled out four players for their Week 4 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. Quarterback Baker Mayfield, outside linebacker Rueben Bain, tight end Ko Kieft, and cornerback Benjamin Morrison will all miss the game. Head coach Todd Bowles confirmed Mayfield is expected to miss at least three weeks due to a dislocated right thumb.
An MRI revealed no additional damage to Mayfield's thumb, though his absence leaves undrafted free agent quarterback Jalon Daniels in line to make his first career start. Mayfield has thrown for 615 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions across three games for Tampa Bay this season.
