Marco Bezzecchi set a lap time of 1:43.321s to lead an Aprilia 1-2 during the final Japanese MotoGP practice session at Motegi. His Aprilia teammate Jorge Martin finished closely behind in second place by just 0.080 seconds, while Pedro Acosta secured third. The session was briefly disrupted by a red flag within the opening six minutes due to track conditions following an engine failure on Franco Morbidelli's bike.
Marc Marquez posted the fourth fastest time, 0.243 seconds off Bezzecchi's pace, with Fabio Di Giannantonio rounding out the top five. Brad Binder finished sixth, followed by Enea Bastianini in seventh and Alex Marquez in eighth. Despite a mid-session crash, Trackhouse Aprilia rider Ai Ogura placed 11th, while Francesco Bagnaia concluded the practice run in 12th position.
