Last year’s playoffs might have only been an appetizer.

The New York Knicks are preparing to experiment with new offensive looks and adjusted player roles during their championship defense. Following the team's first practice of training camp on Tuesday, guard Jalen Brunson and head coach Mike Brown detailed plans to build upon the tactical adjustments unlocked during their title run.
Key changes include keeping Karl-Anthony Towns as a playmaking elbow hub while expanding roles for OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges. Brown noted potential adjustments such as involving Anunoby in pick-and-rolls and occasionally deploying him at small-ball center behind Towns and Andre Drummond.
