Reporter Mark Kaboly expressed shock over the Pittsburgh Steelers' late-game decision to attempt a Hail Mary against the Cleveland Browns. Speaking on the Kaboly + Mack podcast, Kaboly questioned whether Aaron Rodgers or the coaching staff chose the play, arguing the team had 10 seconds and a timeout remaining to gain 20 to 25 yards for a game-tying field goal attempt.
Pittsburgh had previously tied the game after trailing 24-16, with Rodgers scoring on a two-point conversion sneak before Cleveland answered with a late field goal. Rodgers' final desperate pass was intercepted, ending the contest and drawing criticism from Kaboly and writer Matthew Marczi regarding the clock and play management.
