Stoke City transfer cut short after manager exit as new deal instantly agreed

Stoke City defender Syd Agina has joined National League side Tamworth on loan until November 1 after his spell at Forest Green Rovers was cut short. The 19-year-old Kenya international initially signed a loan deal with Forest Green in July that was expected to run until January, making four league starts during his time there.

Agina's departure from Forest Green came a day after manager Robbie Savage left the club to take charge of Peterborough United. At Tamworth, Agina links up with Stoke teammate Gabriel Kelly under manager Andy Peaks.
