Former Real Madrid and AC Milan ace proud of Sunderland star’s Premier League impact

Former Real Madrid and AC Milan striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar expressed his pride over Sunderland forward Brian Brobbey's impact in the Premier League. Brobbey joined Sunderland from Ajax in the summer of 2025 and helped Regis Le Bris' side secure Europa League qualification with a seventh-place finish, recording 10 goals in 38 appearances.

Huntelaar was part of the Ajax staff that brought Brobbey back to the club following a brief stint at RB Leipzig. Speaking to Voetbal International, Huntelaar stated he still messages Brobbey and believes the Netherlands international can take the final step in his development.
