The Marvin Harrison Jr. trade rumors were the talk of the town until yesterday, when anonymous NFL execs pulled the rug out from under the hype. The Athletic’s Jonathan Jones handed the Cardinals a rather dismal update on Harrison Jr.“Multiple sources…

NFL executives have reportedly downgraded Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.'s trade value following an evaluation of his recent game tape. According to reporting from The Athletic's Jonathan Jones cited by Heavy, sources do not see Harrison playing with the effort of a top receiver, with market value projected around a second- or third-round draft pick.
Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort is reportedly unlikely to accept less than a Day 2 pick for the former fourth overall selection. While several teams remain interested at a reasonable price, Arizona is not viewed as desperate to trade Harrison amid quarterback instability involving injured rookie Carson Beck and bridge starter Jacoby Brissett.
