Former Man City manager wants to ‘be with his people' for next home game

Former Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is reportedly set to attend the club's Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain at the Etihad Stadium on October 14. This would mark Guardiola's first appearance at the stadium since stepping down at the end of the 2025/26 season, following reports that he informed senior club figures he wants to support the team in person.
Guardiola recently broke his silence on social media to express full support for the club, chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak, and new manager Enzo Maresca after Manchester City were found guilty of 114 breaches of Premier League financial rules. The club has lodged an appeal against the independent commission's verdict.
