A season, not seven games, should define Mourinho’s Madrid

Marc Cucurella has called for patience regarding José Mourinho's project at Real Madrid, stating the team must be judged across an entire season. The appeal comes after Madrid suffered defeats to Real Betis and Atlético Madrid in their opening seven LaLiga matches, leaving them six points behind early leaders Barcelona.

Cucurella, who joined Madrid from Chelsea in a €55 million summer transfer, cited limited preseason preparation and squad adaptation as key challenges. The Spain left-back stated he aims to match his strong national team form at the club level as Mourinho's tactical ideas take shape.
