Real Madrid defender Ibrahima Konaté will not recover in time for the team's upcoming match against Villarreal following the FIFA break, according to a report. Konaté suffered a knee sprain during a training camp with France. Although he avoided a major injury and could be fit for El Clásico later in October, he requires additional time to recover.
Konaté's absence leaves Antonio Rüdiger as the club's only available center-back, as Dean Huijsen is suspended following a red card against Atlético de Madrid. Manager José Mourinho is expected to deploy Aurélien Tchouameni alongside Rüdiger, though Denzel Dumfries, Álvaro Carreras, or Castilla defender Joan Martínez remain potential options.
