Denny Hamlin secured pole position for the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway as Joe Gibbs Racing swept the top four spots in qualifying for the first time in team history. Hamlin posted a 28.910-second lap to earn his fifth pole of the season and 53rd career NASCAR Cup Series pole. Teammate Ty Gibbs qualified second, followed by Christopher Bell in third and Chase Briscoe in fourth.
Tyler Reddick qualified fifth to complete an all-Toyota top five ahead of Kyle Larson in sixth. All top 10 positions were secured by Chase drivers, while Team Penske drivers Ryan Blaney and Joey Logano struggled, qualifying 20th and 23rd, respectively. Josh Berry and Noah Gragson will start at the rear after sustaining major damage in practice spins.
