The NFL announced a decision over a hit on Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson.

The NFL decided not to fine Carolina Panthers linebacker Bobby Okereke following his roughing-the-passer penalty on Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson. The controversial fourth-quarter call erased an interception and set up Cleveland's 21-18 comeback victory on September 27. Following the game, Panthers defensive tackle Bobby Brown claimed that Watson had exaggerated the hit and flopped.
Although Okereke was omitted from the NFL's Week 3 disciplinary report, three of his Carolina teammates were fined a combined $26,146 for unrelated infractions. Lee Hunter was fined $10,174 for taunting, Thomas Incoom received a $9,222 penalty for unnecessary roughness, and A.J. Dillon was fined $6,750 for a facemask violation.
