Horner says his Ferrari 'dream' remarks were meant politely, and Brundle calls the row overblown. Hamilton, Leclerc and Vowles are all backing Vasseur.

Formula 1 commentator Martin Brundle has described the recent uproar over Christian Horner and Ferrari as overblown following a direct phone call with the Red Bull team principal. Horner told Brundle that his earlier remarks calling Ferrari a dream destination were merely intended to be polite and respectful, rather than an indication of an imminent move.
The controversy had previously prompted Ferrari to issue a formal statement supporting current team principal Frederic Vasseur, who also received public backing from drivers Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc. Williams team principal James Vowles also defended Vasseur, stating that Ferrari is currently in its strongest championship position in years and that Vasseur remains the right leader for the team.
