Javier Aguirre is the new Valencia coach

Valencia CF has officially appointed Javier Aguirre as their new first-team coach following the dismissal of Carlos Corberan. The Mexican manager has signed an agreement through the end of the current season, with the club retaining an option to extend his contract for an additional year. Aguirre takes charge with the club sitting in 19th place in La Liga after a disappointing run of one win, one draw, and five defeats.

Aguirre brings extensive managerial experience, having previously managed several Spanish sides including CA Osasuna, Atlético de Madrid, Real Zaragoza, RCD Espanyol, CD Leganés, and RCD Mallorca. He also previously led the Mexico national team at multiple World Cup tournaments.
