AC Milan are expected to take a cautious approach with Alexis Saelemaekers following a right ankle injury sustained during a recent training session. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, medical tests have ruled out bone or ligament damage, but the Belgian remains unlikely to be available for the upcoming match against Sassuolo in Reggio Emilia.
Manager Ruben Amorim will avoid rushing the versatile player back onto the pitch to prevent any setbacks ahead of a congested October schedule. Following the international break, Milan face seven fixtures across domestic and European competitions between October 11 and October 31, including clashes with RB Salzburg, Atalanta, and Inter.
